My Story is probably exactly like everyone elses - except it is mine!
I've come a long way from attending a workshop in 2014 at the home of girlfriend. I had been to workshops before - but I was not crafty or arty and so I took each workshop as a fun couple of hours. This workshop though I took along my 10 year old daughter....
She loved it - and I loved making something together. This was obviously the 'thing' we had been looking for which was just for us. We went to more workshops, classes and a monthly Pizza and Papercraft night where we worked on whatever we wanted to. We needed more product - We had our own Workshops.
My first love was obviously the fact that I got to spend time with my children - crafting, creating and just having fun!
Then I started crafting without them - it was time out for me and a wonderful creative outlet!
And then I really started to notice the product. We had a number of different ranges and brands in our quickly hobbled together 'stash'. And the Stampin' Up! product was such good quality - and it all co-ordinated - and the after sales service was wonderful.
So, in February 2016 I noticed Sale-A-Bration and it just made sense to sign up as a Hobbyist Demonstrator. Just for the discounts and getting products earlier than others.
I found I naturally gravitated toward running classes so that I could share these products and what we could do with them. I was so in love with the products that it was easy - and crafting is always so much more fun when you can do it with friends!
And the friends I've made!!
Some of my class attendees have become clients - some haven't. But for me, sharing my love of Stampin' Up! is the important part.
Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.
For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
